| 20 December 2017 Officially, the society’s specific objectives are many folds. The first is to promote basic and clinical studies and to educate doctors and paramedical staff regarding hypertension as well as to propagate correct knowledge on hypertension. Secondly, the society aims to educate the public and to be of service to all persons with hypertension in Malaysia and to those interested in hypertension p this can come in the form of advising patients to remain active and to lead a normal, productive life. Thirdly, MSH strives to promote cost-effective management and control of hypertension. Chia said it is important to stretch the fund available as much as possible and this usually meant choosing genetics that work over costlier originators.
